Mud/ Sediment Removal
APS Silt Stop® Powders can be used for mud thickening to remove unmanagable muck. Highly saturated soils can be messy and difficult to remove without spilling or dripping.
Apply the soil-specific anionic polymer evenly over the surface of the sediment. Using the bucket of the removal equipment, stir it into the soil to a maximum of 3 feet deep. Allow the polymer to react with the soil for 10-20 minutes, the more mixing that is done, the less time this will take. The polymer will cause the sediment to thicken, allowing for easier removal.
